Tank: AIR

Max Depth: 5.5m to 23.4m  Avg. Depth: 3m to 13.4m  Bottom Time/Dive: 1 hour.

Temperature: Not so cold diving @ Menjangan & PJ. However, Hood & Gloves is a must for Secret Bay.

Currents:  No current

Buddies: Edward Grigorovich, Long Wei Ying & JMW

Log Details: Good diving except for the travelling between dive sites. The journey from Denpasar to Pemuteran was also a killer overland journey especially if arrival is late in the evening. We didn't get to our hotel – Adi Assri Resort until around 1 am-ish. Kasihan only, the drivers had to drive all the way back to Denpasar after dropping us.

This trip is definitely a safari trip. My journey too me from PEN-KUL-MANILA-CEBU-Malapascua and back. I took all types of transport, from land to air to sea…just to get to the island. This trip is memorable filled with lots of learning & drama. I thought we could avoid the check-in drama, unfortunately, the episode had to be screened.

Log Details:

The corals are bleaching. It's beautiful like a winter wonderland. The corals are dying. There's swim-throughs which are fun, but the bikini-girls are not. Their finning sux! Stirs up the sandy bottom – not very good for me when I wanted to take underwater photos!
